Warranties

We stand behind our work.

A warranty should be simple: if we built it and it isn’t right, we make it right. Here’s exactly how our warranties work — no fine print games.

IM Remodeling craftsmanship warranty in Houston, TX

1-year craftsmanship warranty

Every job we do carries a 1-year warranty on our craftsmanship and workmanship. If something we built isn’t right because of how we built it — installation, fit, finish — we come back and make it right, at no charge to you.

Two warranties, two parties

Every project has two warranties from two parties: ours — the 1-year craftsmanship warranty on our work — and each brand’s own warranty on its product. Each party stands behind its own.

Product & manufacturer warranties

Every product has its own warranty from its maker — shingles, windows, fixtures, appliances, materials. Some cover more than a year, some less; it depends on the exact product. We install everything to the manufacturer’s specifications so those warranties stay valid.

You’ll know every warranty up front

At your consultation — it’s free — we go over the exact warranties for every product in your project, in plain language, before you sign anything. Then they’re written into your contract.

What’s covered

What the craftsmanship warranty covers — and what it doesn’t.

Covered: defects in our work — how things were installed, fitted, sealed, and finished. If our crew caused it, we fix it.

Not covered: defects in the products themselves (those go to the manufacturer’s warranty — and we’ll help you through the claim), damage from storms, accidents, or neglect, normal wear and tear, work done by anyone other than our team — and warranties can be voided if a product isn’t maintained the way its maker requires. Wood is the classic example: if it isn’t sealed and maintained, the manufacturer won’t honor the claim. We’ll tell you exactly what each product needs.

Simple rule: our work, our responsibility. Their product, their warranty — with us in your corner.

Our promise

We’ve got your back — before, during, and after the job.

We’re an established company with years of experience, and we didn’t get here by disappearing after the check clears. Everything is upfront: when we come out, we tell you exactly what needs to be done, what it costs, and what every warranty covers — and then it’s all written down in your contract. No surprises, no fine-print games.

And if something goes wrong down the road, we don’t hide. Call us. We keep a high standard of customer service, and we’ll do our best to help with whatever needs to be done — whether it’s our warranty, a manufacturer claim we help you file, or just honest advice. We’re behind you on every project.

Questions, answered

What does the 1-year craftsmanship warranty actually cover?

Our work: installation, fit, finish, and everything our crew built. If a defect comes from how we did the job, we repair it at no charge within one year of completion.

What if a product fails — a shingle, a fixture, a window?

That’s the manufacturer’s warranty, and every product’s terms are different. Call us first — we’ll tell you honestly whether it’s our work or the product, and if it’s the product, we’ll help you through the manufacturer’s claim process.

How do I make a warranty claim?

Call us at (832) 892-7255 and describe what you’re seeing. We’ll come take a look, and if it’s covered, we schedule the fix.

Do I get the warranties in writing?

Yes. Every warranty — ours and every manufacturer’s — is spelled out in your contract before work begins. Nothing verbal, nothing vague.

Is my product warrantied?

Yes. Every brand-name product we install carries its own warranty from its maker. The terms are different for every brand and product — we’ll go over the exact one for your project at your consultation, and it’s written into your contract.

What is the warranty on my product?

It depends on the brand and the product — each manufacturer sets its own terms, and some cover more than a year while others cover less. That’s exactly what we walk you through at your free consultation, in plain language, before you sign anything.

Do I have to maintain the product to keep the warranty?

Some products, yes. Wood is the classic example — if it isn’t sealed and maintained, the manufacturer won’t honor a warranty claim. We’ll tell you exactly what maintenance each product needs so your warranties stay valid.

What if something goes wrong after the job is done?

Call us — that’s what we’re here for. We’ll come take a look, tell you honestly what’s going on, and do our best to make it right. If it’s our work, our warranty covers it. If it’s a product issue, we’ll help you through the manufacturer’s claim. Either way, you’re not on your own.

Let’s talk about your project — and its warranties.
